Ministries: Building & Grounds and Audio
To be a servant of Christ is one of the most powerful and humbling jobs that anyone could undertake. It requires patience, dedication, belief in the idea that what you are doing has a greater good than what you yourself would desire. I was introduced to the church through my wife and have been serving the Lord and His church ever since. I’ve always enjoyed being a servant, so what better way to serve than in a leadership role for the Lord.
One of the primary lessons I learned when I was a deacon is that we may not always anticipate the everyday challenges life takes us through, but we all have to go through it in order to come out on the other side. Paul teaches us our inner attitudes do not have to reflect our outward circumstances. Ultimate joy comes from Christ dwelling within us, Phillipians 4:4-7. As an elder, I continue to be committed as a servant of the Lord who is dedicated to overseeing and protecting the flock.
