I learned about the Word at an early age. I was influenced by the teachings and influence of my parents. I’ve been an elder for about two years. I desired the office of eldership because of the fervent love I have for Christ’s church. It provides the opportunity to serve at a level that will allow me, by the strength of our heavenly father, to meet people’s spiritual needs and help lead people to a deeper level of faith in the Lord because I truly love and believe in the Lord.

I face the challenge of helping people remain faithful and committed to Lord. Also challenging is finding ways to get into members lives and have the kind of relationship that is needed to lead and influence their lives. The scripture that most inspires me is 1 Samuel 30:6. It speaks of the incredibly profound trust, confidence and intimacy in the Lord. At the bleakest moments in life, God is there.
